What do I need to drive these roads?
- Assetto Corsa on PC (the original, on Steam)
- Content Manager
- Custom Shaders Patch (CSP), a recent version
Pure or Sol lighting is recommended for the look you see in our clips.
How do I install a track?
- Download the .zip from Gumroad.
- Drag the .zip onto the Content Manager window and click Install.
- Find the track under Drive → Track and pick a layout.
Without Content Manager, unzip the track folder into assettocorsa\content\tracks.
What's the difference between the layouts?
- Skyline Blvd: Skyline Boulevard (35) from Castle Rock to Skylonda. Free.
- Highway 9 Ring: Highway 9 from Sanborn to Sempervirens. $9.
- Highway 9 + Skyline: Highway 9 and Skyline Blvd (35) together. $9.
Get both paid layouts together for $15.
Is Skyline Blvd really free?
Yes. On Gumroad you can enter $0, or pay what you want if you'd like to chip in.
Gumroad or Patreon: which one do I need?
Gumroad is where you buy or download a track. You keep it.
Patreon is for supporting what comes next: early access to new roads, a vote on which road gets built next, and work-in-progress builds. Tiers are $5, $9 and $15 a month.
Which roads are coming next?
Page Mill Road, Pescadero Creek Road, Highway 1, Highway 84, Mines Road, Mt Hamilton, Mt Umunhum and Panoramic Highway on Mt Tam are in development. Patreon backers vote on the order.
Does it work on console, ACC or Assetto Corsa EVO?
Not right now. The tracks are for the original Assetto Corsa on PC. Console versions don't support mods.
Can I run these on my server?
Yes. Skyline Blvd is free to host anywhere. The paid tracks are fine on public or private servers as long as every driver has their own copy; please don't put the track files in a server's download package. Ask us at help@switchbacksim.com if you're unsure.
Is the footage real?
All of it is in-game: Assetto Corsa with Custom Shaders Patch. What you see in the clips is what you get in your own game.
Something's broken. Can I get a refund?
Email help@switchbacksim.com with your Gumroad receipt and a screenshot of what's wrong, and we'll help you get it running. All sales are final: we don't offer refunds.
Can I request a road, a car or a livery?
Yes. Custom builds are available. Email hello@switchbacksim.com with what you have in mind. Road ideas can also go in the Discord.
